Online Yoga Classes for Improving Your Health and Immunity

We're all in a situation at the moment that we've not chosen and I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. While we must all distance or isolate ourselves from face-to-face interactions, we can still congregate online with like-minded people and support each other through these tough times.

Having to stay at home most of the time may leave you feeling disconnected and even lonely. But, we are literally all connected globally in dealing with this unusual situation – all ages, gender, races, religion, nationalities, income bracket. So, you're not alone.

This is an opportunity to connect in different ways and to do things differently. During this time you can rely on your yoga practice to keep you grounded and stable inside as the world around you is rapidly changing.

Yoga means union and we can come together as one in the online yoga studio. It is a way to connect with yourself at a deeper level and also to get together with others in solidarity through your yoga practice.

That's why to help you keep healthy during these strange times, I'm inviting you to join the “live” online Yoga for Improving Your Health and Immunity classes that will be streamed right into your home and can help you whether you are a beginner or more experienced yoga practitioner.

half spinal twist (lord of the fishes) yoga postureRelaxing at yoru best...

By teaching you these classes, I help you to flex and stretch your body keeping it supple, strong and healthy, relax your mind and to become more grounded, centred and peaceful while all around you seems to be weird and crazy like we're all participating in some kind of science fiction movie that is actually real.

I'm Rosaleen Bloomfield and I've been teaching yoga since 2002. A spiritual awakening experience while attending a yoga retreat in Turkey thrust me into the world of being a spiritual seeker and started me on a journey of self discovery and yoga.

At Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore, India

First, I studied Sivananda yoga and meditation in Udaipur, the City of Lakes, Rajasthan, India with Sandeep Mehta and Barbara Gordon. I had the honour and privilege to be taught the spiritual philosophy of yoga in the traditional oral way by the enlightened master, Guruji Mohan. After teaching yoga for several years, I completed another teacher training course in Alignment-based yoga under the teachings of yoga asana (postures) master Aadil Palkhivala, the teacher of teachers, who himself studied from the age of seven with the late great master BKS Iyengar. I also immersed myself in different and diverse spiritual practices including Vipassana meditation as a way to learn and grow spiritually.

I've practised different yoga styles from precision-focused Iyengar to flowing Vinyasa yoga. I blend a range of styles during the practice depending on the needs of the class. However, I lean towards alignment and precision in my classes because the focus is on safety first and the accuracy creates a deeper experience of self during a yoga class.

Uniquely, I synthesise teachings from yoga, an ancient personal development system, with modern personal transformation systems ( I'm an Institute of Leadership and Management Coach and Mentor) and metaphysics - specifically scientific hand analysis.

For deeper transformational experiences, I take adventurous, spirit-centred people on week-long and weekend yoga retreats in exotic locations such as India, Turkey and also to beautiful locations in the UK, including Scotland and Ireland.

I believe that yoga is a way to create oneness with all of creation. Yoga is a lifestyle and way of living. The essence of the practice is to help you journey through life being more grounded, PRESENT, calm and joyful and to realise how fantastic you are as part of infinite intelligence. Practising yoga helps you to make better life choices and to challenge yourself to be the best that you can be.
