At Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore, India

I began my yoga journey by studying Sivananda yoga and meditation in Udaipur, the City of Lakes, Rajasthan, India, under the guidance of respected teachers Sandeep Mehta and Barbara Gordon. It was a privilege to learn the spiritual philosophy of yoga in the traditional oral way from the enlightened master, Guruji Mohan. As my teaching experience grew, I pursued further training in the Alignment-based yoga system of the esteemed yoga master, Aadil Palkhivala. Aadil, known as the teacher of teachers, studied directly with the late great master BKS Iyengar from a young age.

Throughout my yoga journey, I have explored various styles ranging from the precision-focused Iyengar to the flowing Vinyasa yoga. In my classes, I blend different styles based on the unique needs of my students. However, my emphasis is on alignment and precision, prioritising safety and enabling a deeper connection with oneself during the practice.

What sets me apart is my ability to synthesize teachings from ancient yoga philosophy with modern personal transformation systems. As an Institute of Leadership and Management Coach and Mentor, I integrate the principles of personal development into my teachings. Additionally, I have delved into metaphysics, specifically scientific hand analysis, further enriching my understanding of the human experience.

In addition to my classes, I offer immersive and transformative experiences through week-long and weekend yoga retreats. These retreats provide a unique opportunity for adventurous, spirit-centered individuals to deepen their practice in beautiful and exotic locations, including India, Turkey, Spain and breathtaking destinations in the UK such as Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

 

I believe that yoga is a profound pathway to fostering a sense of unity with the entire cosmos. It goes beyond being a mere physical practice and becomes a way of life.

At its core, yoga serves as a guiding light on our journey through life, empowering us to embrace groundedness, presence, tranquility, and boundless joy.

It allows us to recognize our inherent magnificence as an integral part of the infinite intelligence that permeates everything. By cultivating a regular yoga practice, we open doors to making more conscious life choices and embolden ourselves to reach our fullest potential
