As well as being an instrument that we use to do things like eating and creating objects, the way you place and move your hands affects how you breathe and impacts your energy.
Sit still for a moment and watch your breathing. Breath normally. Place your hands on you thighs with the palms facing up. As you observe your breathing, notice the expansion of the lungs as you inhale and exhale. Where is the movement?
Now turn your palms to face downwards. Watch your breathing. What do you notice now?

When you palms face up your breath goes to the lower part of the lungs; when thy face down you feel the breath more in the upper regions.

It was very fascinating to come across a video by the mystic and spiritual teacher, Sadhguru, where he also talks about the hands as powerful tools that have an impact on your energies. Your hands are like a control panel to everything, he says. If you know how, you can adjust your whole energy system using just your ring finger. However, this ability takes a lot of exploration and spiritual practices.
With hand analysis, years of spiritual work is not required.

I had my hands analysed after attending a marketing conference in San Antonio, Texas where one of the presentations was on how to discover your life purpose from the fingerprints. This was five year ago and I was blown away by the accuracy of the information deciphered from my hands. That's why I studied the hand analysis system and I am now a qualified hand analyst.
